14. Lessons from burnout and tips to recover with Lindsay Brown

 

Today I’m chatting with Lindsay brown who recently went a bit viral on tiktok around her super relatable story of experiencing burnout and what she did to recover from it. I found her from her video called Day 1 Of Getting My Life Back Together and have been following her ever since. I felt like I could relate to so much of what she shared and I feel like burnout is so rampant these days, so I asked Lindsay to join the podcast to share more about her story, like how she knew she was burnt out and what helped her decide to do something about it, what her first steps were, how her mindset has shifted since then and what has helped her recover… we talking about finding our identity outside of our achievements and successes and how perfectionism sometimes hinders us, and lastly a quick touch on how she stays creative on social media and our recommendations for first steps if you’re currently struggling with burnout.
