13. Is TikTok dying? And what to do in an ever changing social media climate with JT Casey
Today’s episode is a follow up to a previous episode — episode 7 which was all about the future of social media and whether or not we think social media has become more authentic or not, along with what we think helps creators stand the test of time.
We got great feedback on that episode and the conversation continued offline with many fellow creators, including one conversation with JT Casey, a creator on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and as we discuss, well, basically every platform. Between them all, JT has a following of over 8M, most of which he grew in the last couple of years. JT is here today representing Gen Z but also as someone who has successfully grown his socials into a business in the last few years and is someone I personally look to for tips on navigating the social media industry as it changes rapidly.
We talk about diversifying on different platforms, the most underrated social media platforms, and whether or not TikTok will die!!

I think you’ll love this episode especially if you were ever called gifted and talented growing up or take a lot of pride in being a high achiever but can’t seem to shake the pressure to sustain that identity as an adult.
