A FASHION SHORT FT. LOVE SHACK FANCY

Nathan and I have been dreaming up some fun projects over the summer, and this was one we were excited to make. I was inspired by Love Shack Fancy’s whimsical, soft, romantic style that somehow still felt playful and fun and I wanted to capture that kind of feeling in a video. I started brainstorming images I thought of along those lines and I decided the dresses would fit well on “a Sunday in my dream world.”

I picked out the music next since I knew that would determine the tone and the types of shots we got. I wanted something that felt nostalgic but still happy.

I planned out a few other visuals and then presented my ideas to Nathan. He helped me refine the vision and then brought it to life with storyboarding, shotlists, directing my poses and movements, all the cinematography and editing. It was fun that we got to do this together as a couple, just for fun with no other crew members or brand-requirements involved. LoveShackFancy all started from a wedding, so I love that we could bring in that aspect a little bit too!
