FAIR TRADE DRESS + PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR
I'm kind of obsessed with Pantone. I love studying the trend reports they put online and reading about how design trends and culture are impacting the colors we use for layouts, fashion, interiors, etc. The Pantone Color for 2017 is called "Greenery." They have so many interesting things to say about that choice, so definitely check out their full post to read more about it if you're interested! You can find it here.
I wanted to do a shoot inspired by the color Greenery, and I happened to already have this dress from a really cool, small designer called Kristinit. All of her pieces are fair trade, eco-friendly, and manufactured here in LA. She also donates 5% of all sales towards charities that support the environment. YES to all of that!! Shop Kristinit here.
